May has been an incredibly enriching and inspiring month, filled with invaluable learning experiences and exciting opportunities to connect with industry leaders and peers. I’m thrilled to share some of the highlights with you.

Early in the month, I had the privilege of attending the CALU Conference in Ottawa. This event provided a fantastic platform to deepen my understanding of current tax regulations and policies. Meeting with representatives from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) was particularly enlightening. These interactions allowed me to gain fresh insights into the intricacies of taxation, which will undoubtedly enhance the financial strategies we implement together.

Shortly after the CALU Conference, I had the honor of participating in the Sunlife PD Summit. This summit was a remarkable gathering of fellow advisors, industry experts, and key figures from Sunlife Canada, including the president. It was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the latest trends and best practices in our field. One of the most memorable experiences was being part of the Advisor Panel for "The Journey to Excellence." Being on this panel allowed me to share my professional journey and learn from the diverse experiences of my peers. The discussions were incredibly motivating, and I returned with renewed energy and innovative ideas that I’m excited to bring to our work together.
