THE BETTER FAFSA IS COMING….ARE YOU READY?

The FAFSA is open....sort of. As of December 28, the FAFSA is open (a soft launch), but the form may not be available every day before January 1. Check studentaid.gov daily to determine FAFSA's status.

When you have gathered your 2022 tax information and set up your FSA ID, you can access the form HERE.

As you get ready to file your form, remember the following:

  • You will get confirmation and access to your FAFSA Submission Summary BEFORE your schools will get access to your information.
  • Financial Aid Offices will begin receiving information from FAFSA in late January, so financial aid packages may be delayed.
  • You should still file your form to meet school financial aid deadlines.
  • If you applied to a school requiring the CSS profile, your initial financial aid package may adjust once your FAFSA is filed and processed.
  • Don’t reach out to financial aid departments before mid-February.
  • Remember we are here - in-person, via Zoom, text, and email - to help how we can!
