HELLO EVERYBODY,
Is FALL your favorite time of the year?
The Fall season is symbolic of change. From the leaves evolving to beautiful warm hues to chunky knit sweaters making their way into our daily attire, Fall brings change—but with a sense of comfort and ease.
🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
If the change in seasons feels a little overwhelming, or if you simply need the inspiration to embrace change, here's the 3 things we can learn from the symbolism of Fall...
ABUNDANCE:
make joy, happiness, or time with self yours by refocusing your thoughts and priorities
BALANCE:
let go of the things you can't control and be gentle with yourself during a season of change
CONSCIOUSNESS:
welcome slower speeds, practice gratitude, and choose to live in the present
AND DO YOGA 💫
Here's to a new season full of wonderful journeys!
with gratitude,
Diane & the YFTH team 💜

Restorative Yoga & Reiki
Friday ~ Sept. 6 ~ 7-8:30 pm w/ Brittany Gauthier & Vilma Annicelle
Join Brittany & Vilma as they guide you into deeply relaxing postures with the support of Reiki. Your favorite workshop just got better...it's now 90 minutes of chill!
Reiki is a Japanese spiritual healing technique, where the practitioner lightly rests or hovers their hands over parts of the body where energy flows the most, allowing the body to be its own healer. In a given day, we're all running on empty, with just enough energy to get through the day, with no energy left in the body to repair, heal, and regenerate!
Your Restorative poses will calm the nervous system allowing the body to rest, heal and restore balance. Reiki will provide your body the extra energy to balance you physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Building Strong Backs in Community
Sunday ~ Sept. 15 ~ 1-3:00
Todd Motyl
Join Todd for a 2 hour workshop focusing on alignment of the low back and hips using partner assists and props. Students should have a familiarity with yoga as the information can be dense and focuses on refinement of basic poses. While incorporating some flow, a significant portion of the class will focus on breaking down specific muscle groups and using partner assists to better integrate these new principles.
Great for students wanting to explore their practice, as well as Yoga Teachers as a refresh in anatomy, alignment, and assists!
About Todd Motyl:
At the age of 12 Todd started experiencing debilitating low back and hip pain. 10 years later he walked into a yoga class with a friend and quickly found some of the first real relief from pain in that time. Todd quickly developed a love for all the philosophy, community, mythology, and technical aspects of the practice. This affected every aspect of his day to day life, discovered all new friends, led to pursuing massage therapy as a career graduating Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2009, and then getting his yoga teaching certification in 2015 under Maggie Durbas’s 200 hour teacher training.
Todd enjoys sharing all the aspects of his practice that allow him to feel freedom and comfort as he assists others in finding a deeper connection with themselves as well.
