Come down O Love divine!

We celebrate The Great Feast of Pentecost this Sunday at 8:00 & 10:00.

Memorial Day tradition: Hot Dog Church

One of the ways the Holy Spirit shows up here at the corner of Main & Maple is through our annual event following Sheffield's iconic small town Memorial Day Parade. The marching and memorial service culminate right across the street in Barnard Park. After, we invite you to head on over to our churchyard to enjoy a lunch with your friends. The Mount Everett Marching Band will be served, then we have free hot dogs for everyone!

We call it Hot Dog Church and it is brought to you through the generosity of the proprietors of The Elm on Railroad Street in GB and Thrivent. We need your help preparing for this community luncheon as we expect to serve hot grilled food to 300 people or more.

Please send us an email with your name and telephone number if you would be willing to volunteer starting at 10:00 on May 27. Or stop by our coffee hour at 11:00 on Sunday and add your name to the sign-up poster. Thanks so much!

1,500,000 pounds of food

One of our most critical partners is Berkshire Bounty. We are involved with them through the Southern Berkshire Rural Health Network. Berkshire Bounty is a 501(c)(3) food rescue organization with the mission to collect, purchase and deliver nutritious food to emergency food distribution programs countywide. They build capacity, close gaps and improve the quality of food for the food insecure population. Their vision is for everyone to have access to sufficient nutritious food for themselves and their families.

To Date, Berkshire Bounty has collected 1,500,000 pounds of nutritious food. The organization Increases the amount of fresh produce, dairy, meat and culturally appropriate food for food pantries and other food distribution organizations.

Christ Trinity is a proud supporter of Berkshire Bounty. Please consider volunteering for them.

Cycling Hospitality began right here

One of our Corners of Kindness is the Cycling Hospitality Station just off Maple Avenue. Because our church members saw a need, they began providing this hospitality a few years ago with a parking area for cars, a shady place to rest or enjoy a snack and a bicycle repair station. Beginning May 22, we will have a portable toilet and a fresh water spigot to refill your water containers. Welcome to our Corner on Main and Maple.

We are so proud!

A fun, new cabaret show spotlighting Janelle Farias Sando’s powerhouse voice and stage talent. Janelle had her Berkshires beginnings at Christ Trinity's Broadway Cabaret, and we couldn't be prouder of her. The show is directed by our own Wendy Welch. The audience is seated onstage, in the ambience of a prohibition club, for a sensational performance of period jazz, traditional Broadway and new Broadway show tunes.

Night at the Speakeasy plays Thurs-Sat 7:30pm; Sat. & Sun. 3pm, in the McConnell Theater. https://www.greatbarringtonpublictheater.org/
