Transportation Symposium Success!
Immediately following this year's Mid-Session Summit, Southeast Conference held its second Transportation Symposium, bringing together public and private sector leaders on the local, state, and national level to identify how the IIJA has benefitted Southeast Alaska, where we are and what our transportation needs are for economic growth, how to program transportation infrastructure, federal resources and what to expect from the IIJA in the coming 1-2 years. All presentations and recordings are available on our website.
FY24 Appropriations Requests
The Appropriations Request Form for FY 2024 is now available. The process includes opportunities to fund local projects through Congressionally Directed Spending, allowing Alaskans to identify and receive federal assistance for needs in the state. I Submitted proposals will be considered by the Senate Appropriations Subcommittees on a bipartisan basis through established criteria. The current deadline for requests is March 10, 2023.
