A message from our Board of Directors...

Summer is well underway...as the heat rolls across the pavement, we hope that you are building memories with your family and friends just as you build your business. To make the most of your resources, SCBA continues to provide its members with several avenues to grow your network!

This month, join us for lunch on July 18th as we hear from member Kathleen Rus. She will discuss ways to make sure succession plans are in place and your business interests are taken care of.

We'll also enjoy a Power Networking Breakfast at Essential Support Services in Eldersburg on Tuesday, July 24th. This series has been tremendously popular so don't forget to sign up for this (and ask about hosting one for next year)! Looking ahead to August, our regular luncheon will be on August 15th and we will discuss business uses for web video and how to make it work for YOU.

Once the kids are back in school, please also mark your calendars for THREE September events. We will start the month with a Power Networking Breakfast at Merritt Health Club on September 6th. Please also note that our September lunch will be on the second Wednesday of the month, September 12th, instead of the usual 3rd Wednesday.

We encourage you to sign up for our golf tournament on September 25th. We have made many opportunities available for both golfers as well as non-golfing supporters. This event supports the SCBA's scholarship fund. This year, we've been able to award 3 Carroll County high students with $1000 scholarships plus we've funded $2000 worth of scholarships at Carroll Community College. Check out the entire calendar and register for any of these events HERE.
