SCAEC TRANSITION TEAM UPDATES

STUDENT SUCCESS STORY

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gricelda Santana - Central Adult School

Spanish GED Student

Gricelda transitioned to a job within her local school district. She says, "I am very happy to have come to school at CLASS because I was able to pass all four tests to earn my GED. The teachers are very professional, attentive and help the students a lot. Additionally, the Transitions Specialist helped me complete my resume and thanks to that I got a job in the Central Unified School District. Since I had no work experience in this country and I really didn't know where to start, at school they helped me and encouraged me to achieve. They have a very respectful and friendly environment and I'm very glad I got in."
