March's Virtue of the Month – Integrity
This month we are focusing on acts of Integrity - Doing the right thing when no one is watching. Moral soundness; honesty; freedom from corrupting influence or motive.
Teachers and staff will be on the lookout to reward students with Virtue Tickets for exhibiting behavior aligned with this Core Virtue. Each Virtue Ticket earned counts towards a point for the students' House. The names of virtuous student leaders will be proudly displayed in the dining hall.
February House Service Challenge - Candy Grams to benefit East Savannah United!
Savannah Classical Academy partnered with East Savannah United to raise funds through candy gram sales to help support their mission. East Savannah United's main purpose is community revitalization in underserved communities as well as improving outcomes for area children and families.
Together, SCA raised $604 in donations!! Thank you to all students and staff who participated.
March House Service Challenge - Union Mission's Parker House: A Home for Women!
In recognition of Women's History Month, Savannah Classical Academy is partnering with Union Mission's Parker House to provide their residence with some much needed items to help in their daily life.
Starting March 4th through March 22nd, bring in UNOPENED, PACKAGED, toilet tissue, fabric softener sheets, and laundry detergent pods to earn points for your house and aid women of the Parker House here in Savannah!
Each paper roll donated earns your House 1 point. Each box of fabric sheets donated earns your House 2 points. Each box of laundry detergent pods donated earns your House 3 points.
The House that earns the most points through the March's Service Challenge may wear their House shirts every Friday in April!
