Showcase Mobile

SAWDC participated in Showcase Mobile on February 22-23. Over 120 college juniors and seniors from 13 universities convened in Mobile for the debut of Showcase Mobile—an immersive two-day city tour and career exploration event featuring industry tours and networking sessions hosted by the Mobile Chamber.

Attendees were categorized based on their preferred industry pathway, including Aerospace, Healthcare, Supply Chain and Maritime Logistics, Chemical Manufacturing, and Metals Manufacturing. Each participant had the opportunity to engage in exclusive industry tours at companies within their selected field and learn about available job prospects. SAWDC helped with leading the tours and the networking event. It was great to help students understand more about the potential careers in our region.
