THAT BEACH LIFE

Beach volleyball is part of the culture in Hawai'i nei.

We have done amazing things to grow the sport here, including creating & hosting the first High School Prep State Championships held in the USA,

SAS Beach Club, the Ali'i Beach League and hosting sanctioned junior beach tournaments.

This incredible amount of hard work is a testament of our love for the sport and

our kuleana to give back and offer opportunities to Hawaii's keiki.

What are the stats and facts for beach scholarships

and playing collegiately?

While some families can afford to pay 80-200k+ tuition, that is not necessarily the case for all families. Collegiate beach programs have smaller budgets compared to their indoor programs and a limit on how many athletes can receive scholarships.

Please research the indoor and beach school programs you are interested in.

PARENT & ATHLETE CODES OF CONDUCT

This is a friendly reminder that we are all on the same team and must work together in order to achieve success.

Spike and Serve has Codes of Conduct in place.

Here are a couple friendly reminders:

RESPECT for coaches, teammates and officials at all times.

PLAYING TIME is NEVER to be brought up by a parent to the coach. ATHLETES who feel they should be receiving more court time should approach their coach and ask, "What do I need to work on, coach?

RESPECT FOR ALL OPPONENT TEAMS, ATHLETES, COACHES AND FAMILIES.
