A note from our Executive Director...
We are so pleased to announce that in conjunction with Commonwealth Home Design and mural artist Teresa Ahmad, we're bringing a vibrant piece of public art to life that incorporates our open-heart design and raises money for the food-insecure in our community. Introducing the Rustic Love Hearts and Home Mural at 208 Dominion Rd NE, right on the W&OD Trail in the heart of downtown Vienna!
Public art can inspire change, uplift hearts, celebrate community and bring vibrancy to public spaces. It can also attract tourism, raise awareness about social issues and memorialize historical events and time periods. It is our hope that our colorful and vibrant mural will serve as a reminder of how our amazing community came together during the pandemic to help our neighbors in need. We invite all local businesses and community members to sponsor a heart on this historic mural, and continue the circle of giving and kindness on this large-scale fundraiser.
