New Mural: We are so excited for everyone to stop by the library and see the new Friends Donation Tree Mural, painted by local artist Priscilla Serafin. If you would like to become a donor to the Friends of the Rowley Library you can visit this link: Donate Your support helps the library offer great programming and resources all year long! Each donor will have their name appear on a leaf of the tree in recognition of your support. You can pay via PayPal or bring a check to the library made out to the Friends of the Rowley Library. Green leaves for individuals are $25. An orange family leaf is $50. And a gold top contributor leaf is $100. These donation leaves will replace our traditional membership.

Featured Artists:

In our Gallery: Local Student Art

This month the Rowley Public Library is hosting art created by local students from Pine Grove School. Notan is a design element used for creating composition in art. The Japanese use the term 'Notan' to describe an important element of design involving the play of light versus dark.   Students first learned about positive space and negative space and saw examples of artwork displaying both elements. Students then designed, mounted, labelled and titled their own work to prepare it to share with the community. Please take a minute and look at the interesting abstract shapes they created and see what jumps out at you.

Fill our Gallery and Display Case

We have been proud to show off so many local artists and collectors in the past! If you would be interested in displaying your work, hobby, or interest in the future, either on our walls or in our display case, please contact us.

This month's featured items from our Library of Things:
