We need everyone's help in keeping us healthy at the Routt County Fair. By following these three simple steps, you can help do your part in keeping you and your animals flu free!

  1. Don't bring disease to the fair... bring only healthy animals and freshly cleaned equipment.
  2. Don't get disease at the fair... don't mix your animals or equipment with others. Wash your hands often, especially before and after handling animals.
  3. Don't bring disease home from the fair... keep your show animals away from your home animals for 30 days after returning from the fair. Don't share space, tools, or equipment between your home herd and show herd.

  • Home Arts - The Routt County Fair Home Arts would like to encourage 4-Hers to enter Exhibit Day projects (that aren't going to the State Fair Competition) into the additional competition of the Home Arts Show in the Exhibit Hall at Fair. If a project does not fit in a regular class, then simply enter the project under the "4-H Projects" department and the ladies at the Exhibit Hall will split the boards and have them judged appropriately. Vet Science is a great example of this. The display boards do not fit into any of the Home Arts Classes, therefore, they should be entered in the appropriate age group under the "4-H Projects" Department. Entries open online August 1st!
  • 4-H members/families who have not exhibited at Fair in the Exhibit Hall in the last 3 years, need to create a NEW account on the ROUTT COUNTY FAIR OPEN SHOWS entry site. Instructions on registration can be found in the Fair Book (page 107-110).
  • Open Shows, Concert Tickets, and Open Contests can all be found here!
