Palmetto Bay's contractor, General Asphalt Co., will be working on the next 4 project locations identified for roadway resurfacing. The locations are as follows:

Location 1 – Hope Avenue from SW 183RD Street to Wayne Avenue
- Location 2 – East Hibiscus Street from S. Dixie Highway to Franjo Road

Location 4 – SW 74TH Avenue from SW 162ND Street to North Cul de Sac

Location 5 – SW 137TH Street from SW 73RD Avenue to SW 72ND Avenue
Location 3 is currently on hold pending the completion of the drainage system installation.
Work will begin starting July 5, to be completed within 4-6 weeks. The contractor will work weekdays from 7 am to 4 pm. Here's the project start schedule:
- July 5 & 6- Milling Work
- July 7 & 8 - Paving Starts
Palmetto Bay had previously contracted the services of General Asphalt Co. to mill and install new asphalt on 10 roadways throughout the Village. Work on the first five locations started back in May and included the following areas:
- SW 94 Avenue from SW 170 Street to SW 168 Street
- SW 94 Court from SW 170 Street to SW 168 Street
- SW 165 Street from SW 93 Avenue to SW 92 Avenue
- SW 169 Street between Us 1 and SW 92 Court
- SW 170 Lane from 94 Avenue to the Cul-de-Sac
