Message from the Riverfest Committee
This year's Riverfest Committee has been very hard at work! There have been some minor adjustments to the schedule and some incredible additions. Below is the tentative schedule for the week's event! In the recent past, we would open with the community cookout and then pause until Friday. This year, it is the committee's goal to fill each day with an event. Please see below for a list of activities.
In order to pull off our event and showcase our amazing community, we need your support. Last year we raised $35,000. Our goal this year is to raise $25,000.
Here is our breakdown by day:
Monday = $1500+ (Community Cookout / Live Music)
Thursday = $800 (Pedal Pull / Mobile Food Vendor(s))
Friday = $13,500+ (Fireworks / Live Music - Neon Knights)
Saturday = $5000 (Family Events / Parade / Movie Night)
Sunday = $4000 ("Sunday Funday" / Duck Raffle)
In years past, we have had all sponsorship and donor funds submitted to the general fund. This year, the vision is for sponsors to tell us where they want their funds to be applied. This will allow for more direct promotion of the event and the corporate sponsor to also be showcased! Additionally, this also allows for clear transparency and visablity of where funds are applied.
