Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program

Volunteer as a tax preparer to bring hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the community every year.
Becoming a VITA volunteer with United Way of Central Texas is easy! Choose your desired role (site Greeter or Tax Preparer) and register by texting VITAUWCT to 41444 or click the link below.
No experience necessary and free training sessions are provided in December and January!

Daniel Ramos (Director of Community Services) and Krystal Aguilar (UWCT Intern) have completed their Healthcare Marketplace Counselor certifications, and will be assisting clients in finding affordable healthcare during open enrollment from November 1st through December 15th.

The United Way of Central Texas 2-1-1 Helpline is free and confidential, and available 24 hours, 365 days a year. 2-1-1 is staffed by trained specialists who can find real answers for callers as they work the most comprehensive social services database in the state of Texas.
