 Long time no talk.  The Reverse Mortgage program went through a little overhaul, but it's still a great resource, and FHA even announced a new Fixed rate program where you don't have to take a lump sum disbursement.  You can use it as a line of credit or take it however you'd like. Best part is the unused money grows at over 6%!! Of course it is still tax free and does not affect social security. Rates are still very low!!

A Reverse Mortgage is a great option for someone 62, or older who might have been turned down for a refi, or it can be used as a financial planning tool. Whatever the case it is something

The HECM for Purchase is a great option for people 62 or older to use to purchase a home.  This way they can keep more money in the bank.   It's a great option for upsizing or downsizing.

Rates are low, there are still NO qualifications (income, credit, employment), and the money is TAX-FREE.  It creates great peace of mind. 

A Reverse Mortgage can create piece of mind in many ways - payoff a mortgage,  pay for in home health care, to help grandchildren, to upgrade the home...the list is endless.
