Respect Life Newsletter
October 30, 2020
Dear Pro-Life Friend,
Happy Respect Life Month!

We've had an exciting month hosting Pregnancy Help Center Tours for Walking with Moms Parish Core Teams, as well as welcoming clients and volunteers back into our pregnancy centers.

  • If you're a Respect Life Parish Representative and/or Walking with Moms Parish Leader and have not yet started your Parish Inventory or scheduled your Pregnancy Help Center tour, please contact us for assistance!

  • If you're a former Pregnancy Help Center volunteer thinking about coming back, or interested in becoming a pregnancy help center volunteer, contact us to learn more!

In honor of Respect Life month and the 25th anniversary of Pope St. John Paul II's encyclical, Evangelium Vitae, we had our October Walking with Moms webinar on the Gospel of Life with special guest and theologian Dr. Ryan J. Brady. If you missed it, you can check out the recording and presentation on our website.

We look forward to rolling out Phase Three of Walking with Moms: A Year of Service at our next webinar on November 19th-- I hope you can join us!

To close Respect Life Month we will celebrate a Holy Hour in remembrance of all children who have died. I hope to see you tonight at 7pm at St. Patrick on Miami Beach where the Deacon assigned to Respect Life, Dr. Jim Dugard, will lead us in prayer. In coming together as the People of Life, we honor and entrust these lives to the mercy of God and help facilitate consolation and healing for all those who mourn their loss.

And finally, please join me in praying for our country, that we may truly be faithful citizens and vote to protect the most fundamental right to life at the polls this Tuesday. Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, pray for us!

For Life,

Rebecca Brady
Director, Respect Life Ministry
Secretariat for Parish Life, Archdiocese of Miami
