We again want to express our thanks to the Rockwell Fund and panelists Regina Hasan, Unlimited Visions Aftercare, and George Youngblood, Teen and Family Services.

RESOURCES FOR SUPPORTING YOUTH ADDICTION RECOVERY
  • Recovery Resources for Youth - this list may be useful if you are looking for organizations to contribute to or if you want to share resources with someone in need of addiction recovery services.
  • New Research - Angela J. Nash, Ph.D., UTHealth School of Nursing and Crystal Collier, PhD, LPC-S, Houston Council on Recovery are leading research to measure the processes by which youth achieve long-term recovery from substance use disorders. The research is funded by  the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health through June 2017.  Pilot tests will take place at three Teen and Family Services sites and will include mental health consumers as co-investigators and not just as study subjects.
