Photo & Video Options for Your Website

A great website requires great images! While updating your photos can be a great way to improve the look of your website and keep it current, securing high-resolution, quality photos and videos is often a challenge for our website customers.

We love to use your own photos, since those really tell your story best, as long as they are high-resolution and are large enough for the space. But, if you don't happen to have several of these, we have some solutions for you!

Gulkana Village Council’s mission is to improve the quality of life for our people by promoting self-independence and wellness while honoring and respecting their traditions, providing stewardship of their lands, and inspiring unity and faith for future generations. Their website provides extensive information about their history and programs, combined with photo galleries and news posts that serve their community.

KALI Kodiak Archipelago Leadership Institute

The Kodiak Archipelago Leadership Institute is a community-based, non-profit organization based in Kodiak, Alaska. Their mission is to support the long-term sustainability of our region’s coastal communities of Alutiiq heritage.
Sundog collaborated with the KALI team to develop a Website that would be responsive to mobile and feature their services and communities, along with a news feed and a stories blog.
"As a small non-profit supporting Kodiak’s rural communities, we required a professional Alaska-based website designer who demonstrates an understanding of rural Alaska. We chose Sundog because of their impressive online portfolio and their willingness to discuss our needs and work within our team’s capacity. Sundog’s design process was nothing short of Amazing! The use of Basecamp provided a seamless collaborative design process between Sundog and our team. I think the most impressive part of the process is how the Sundog designers worked together so that their response was almost real-time to our posts and requests for edits.
But most importantly, our new website is beautiful, speaks to who we are, and is easy to navigate.
Quyanaa, Sundog for the beautiful work.!"

Robbie Townsend Vennel - Executive Director

"The McDonald Center has long stood as the premier recreation facility in Eagle River and Chugiak. The website however was a broken down, pieced-together site unable to operate on mobile devices with outdated information and in desperate need of an upgrade. The team at Sundog Media was the perfect solution to our problem. They offered different solutions to update our current site or rebuild from the ground up. Joe and his team worked closely with our staff to build us a new site now worthy of our claim of premier recreational facility. Working with the team was easy and the communication was excellent. All questions, changes, edits, and more changes pertaining to the site were addressed quickly by the knowledgeable staff. We also took advantage of the on-staff photographer to update our pictures to finish off the new look. It was an overall great experience, and I would highly recommend Sundog Media to anyone looking to update or overhaul their website."
