Big Day of Giving - Early Giving Has Begun!

The Big Day of Giving is an online giving challenge that brings together nonprofit organizations from all over our community. And this year, we have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact.

You can now donate in support of the community-wide goal of raising unrestricted dollars for Sacramento’s nonprofit community. Or, you can wait until the BIG DAY on May 4th to make your donation.

Donate to Child Action, Inc. here.

What are we raising money for?

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to ensure a holistic approach to care can be offered to the community we serve.

Unrestricted funding raised through the Big Day of Giving allows us to provide supports such as diapers, school or cleaning supplies, or other needs-based assistance.

We also ask our parents and providers to join us in our advocacy efforts and would like to raise funds to support training for this and to aid them in offsetting travel and other expenses.

We can't do it alone.

How can you help?

Your assistance is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Click here to visit our Giving Edge profile and to make a donation.
  2.  Help spread the word! Visit our Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram pages to like and share our posts. Forward our emails to expand our audience reach.
  3. Visit www.bigdayofgiving.org to review nonprofit profiles to make a donation to an organization of your choice

Thank you for your consideration!

Curious About

Social Emotional Developmental Milestones?

Children develop physical skills like sitting up, crawling, or walking as they grow. There are also social emotional markers during a child’s development that are just as important to monitor and celebrate. Help Me Grow Sacramento provides families and child care providers with access to screening tools that help with understanding developmental milestones.
