As I look off my deck and enjoy a couple of Blue Jays working on a nest that was just filled with snow the other day, I think about how nice it will be when we can get back to some type of normal.
Nature reminds me to be patient and to have
resilience. Whether it is waiting for a seed to germinate, a fruit to ripen, or the sun to rise, hope is always on the horizon. Often we are knocked off course a bit by something unexpected: snow last week, the all too familiar pandemic. We have all been challenged on a daily basis to figure out the best way to manage our daily functions which are anything but routine right now. We are GRATEFUL for our staff and community who have been so supportive.
Just as the Blue Jays keep working on their nest, all of us at Countryside are tending to the thousands of vegetable plants we are growing for your garden. Annual flowers are coming into color, and the perennials are almost ready for sale.
We thank you for your patience as we plan on having our online order form available just in time for you to plant your vegetable garden. We are smoothing out the details of our curbside pickup as well as putting safety precautions in place so that when we open the store for foot traffic again, we can do so safely.
Our staff is here to take your orders, answer your gardening and landscape questions, and recommend the best products for your needs through phone calls and e-mails. We remain open for contact-free curbside pickup and delivery Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be closed Sundays through April.
We THANK YOU for your patience as we navigate through this process.
