Hello, December!

The holidays are officially upon us! Cheers to you for teaching full time and staying up to date with your Resident Educator responsibilities, among the many other things you stay busy with each and every day.

December is a time to enjoy with your students, while looking forward to some well-deserved time off. This time of year also proves to be a great opportunity to meet with your mentor to reflect upon how things are going so far this year and how you may adjust course.

Whether you area a Resident Educator, RESA candidate, RE Mentor, or RESA Facilitator - remember that we are here to support you. Please feel free to reach out at anytime.

Thanks to all who attended their initial RE Sessions. Your attention and participation was appreciated. We look forward to working with you in the upcoming sessions. The Zoom link for all future meetings will be posted on the Google Site approximately 24 hours prior to the meeting, and you will receive an email as well.

A Reminder

If you are a Resident Educator Mentor and would like a certificate of attendance for any of the meetings, please email Kim Sofo or Elizabeth Kregel. Your certificates will be emailed to you after they are requested.

Resident Educator Monthly Update

This monthly newsletter is designed to provide you with helpful information and resources. Residency is a time to practice, refine and gain a deeper understanding of the art and science of teaching under the guidance of a certified mentor and the support of a professional learning community. You will be receiving monthly updates that highlight where you should be in the program and also offer helpful resources.
