From the Desk of Mrs. McDonough

Thank you, Curé Community! Curé Soirée 2024

This year’s auction netted $1,200,000! We are incredibly grateful to our Chairs, Anne Gegen, Janelle Campbell, and Jené Noe, for their hard work in making this event such a success.

We also want to thank our Soirée committees, sponsors, and attendees. It takes an incredibly generous community to see such success!

Operating Budget

$675,000 was raised to support the general operating budget, estimated at $6 million for the 2024-2025 school year.

Fund-A-Need

A remarkable $525,000 raised to support:

Teacher Excellence: We will increase teacher compensation, ensuring teacher salaries from

PS-8th grade align closely with our public school counterparts.

Student Success: A well-supported teaching staff directly contributes to the success and

well-being of our students.

Innovation in Education: We want our teachers to feel empowered to think outside the box, take chances, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the classroom.

$65,000 of the Fund-A-Need will be distributed to all staff this school year in gratitude for all of their hard work and dedication to Curé of Ars.

We are very blessed in this community, and our students benefit from it. Our teachers, staff, and administration THANK YOU for your love and support of our school community!

Kansas Assessments Continue for 3rd and 4th grades next week:

Please look in your student’s classroom newsletter to know the exact dates and times for their tests. Please try to avoid scheduling appointments during their schedule testing time. You can help your student perform his or her best by making him or her get to bed early the night before and providing a solid breakfast the morning of the test.

Upcoming Events

Please stop by and check the lost and found for any lost items (sweatshirts, pants, coats, water bottles, lunch boxes). A reminder to please label your items, so we can help return clothes back to kids. The rack is overflowing and the items do NOT have names in them.
