  • Clinician Toolkit Task Force - Development of Presentations for Medical Schools and Professional Societies (Phase 1) - Join our team effort in developing PowerPoint template presentations for Medical Schools, Professional Medical Societies/Associations, Physicians, Nursing/Doula/Other Professionals, The Public, Insurers and Legislators. The templates will outline the role of pelvic floor physical therapy in treating their patients. We will specifically target the role of PF PT in treating pregnant and postpartum patients, however, we will include all aspects of pelvic floor dysfunction (bladder, bowel, sexual, support, orthopedic).
  • State Representatives Needed in Connecticut, Vermont, and New Mexico - Serve as a local contact for the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy members in your state to communicate information regarding member and state affairs.
  • Research Survey *Closing July 6*: Knowledge and Awareness of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Among Women - Open to individuals who do not have a medical background. According to the literature awareness about Pelvic Floor Dysfunction (PFD) among women is very low. PFD is one of the unheeded issues that need prodigious attention as it is affecting women worldwide. Timely introduction of preventive measures can abate such problems. Medical professionals are encouraged to share this survey with other female members of their community. Deadline: July 6.
