RESEARCH AND SPONSORED PROGRAMS | APRIL 2024

Fresno State’s second annual Research Week was a true celebration of the research, scholarly and creative activities on campus. Featuring 10 events across four days (April 2-5), Research Week drew faculty, students and community members to campus for events such as the 45th annual Central California Research Symposium (CCRS), along with panel discussions and the Jordan Agricultural Research Center Research Showcase.

“Research Week proved again to be an excellent showcase for the impressive projects of faculty and students across campus," said Dr. Joy J. Goto, Interim Dean of the Division of Research and Graduate Studies. "It was wonderful to see such great participation as we recognized and celebrated intellectual inquiry and research across campus."

The CCRS moved to a new venue at the Resnick Student Union and featured nearly 250 oral and poster presenters from throughout the state. Click here for a list of award winners, and be sure to check out photos highlighting presenters from all disciplines.

As Dr. Wei Wu (Construction Management) reminded us during a Research Week panel discussion, "Research is a journey, and everyone has their own path. Stay Curious."

We hope you'll stay curious, and we look forward to seeing you all for next year's Research Week (April 21-25, 2025), with CCRS returning to the Resnick Student Union on April 23.
