⚖️ Advocacy Matters to You

All Advocacy
  • Success! Thank you for taking action on the Merkley Amendment (threatened to impact aviation security, increase security wait times, and threaten TSA PreCheck) which was rejected without a vote and the Senate passed the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024. Nicole Porter, Vice President of Political Affairs at U.S. Travel, thanks the 30,000 industry professionals who contributed in signing the letter sent to Congress.
  • With America's 250th just two years away, this will be one of the last opportunities to secure meaningful funding in the lead-up to 2026 and beyond. Sign the pre-written letter to support funding for America's 250th celebrations (before it's too late!)
  • Key Issue Talking Points: NYSHTA's 2024 Tourism Advocacy Day one-pager. The comprehensive document highlights their main budget and legislative priorities for 2024 on short-term rentals, the COVID sick leave law, ADA website legislation, and more.
