What's happening at St Antoninus?
Reminder: First Saturday Charismatic Healing Mass at 3pm. Come at 2pm for Devotion to the Immaculate Heat of Mary . More inside.
Tomorrow is the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. We welcome Fr Albert Nzeh for a visit to St Antoninus Church. Fr Albert will be the chief celebrant and homilist at tomorrow's 10am Mass.
Additional 8am Mass starts tomorrow!
Beginning tomorrow Sunday, Sept 5, we will have an additional Mass at 8am. Thus we will have 2 Masses on Sunday: 8am & 10am. The 8am Mass will be in the Lower Church or Rectory Chapel, while the 10am will continue to be in the Upper Church. Only the 10am Mass and 9am Holy Hour will be live-streamed. We will have the 8am Mass for 3 months and then evaluate. Let us pray that this additional Mass will be a blessing to our parish community
This Wednesday, September 8 is the feast of the birthday of our Blessed Mother! Come joyfully to our 12 Noon Mass to celebrate Mary's nativity!
Children's Catechism classes begin on Sept 12.
The new year of Religious Education for our children will begin on Sunday, Sept 12. Classes will be every Sunday at 8:15am. For now this will be on Zoom only. Register your children and grandchildren now! All children must be registered, even if they have previously attended classes here. Pls complete Religious Education registration forms in the Church entrance and submit to any of the staff (or download form below)
We still need teacher volunteers who will teach Catechism to our children. All you need is a heart that loves Lord and His little ones. All teaching materials will be provided and will serve as an easy guide to teaching each class.

We need help to keep God’s House clean. Join the Church Cleaning Ministry! The team meets every 2nd Saturday at 2pm. If you are interested, call Doris Okolie, coordinator of this ministry of love and service, at 347 748 5023. Our next clean up gathering is on Saturday September 11, 2021.

WEDDINGS. Contact the parish office one year in advance of the proposed marriage date.
INFANT BAPTISM. Expectant parents should call the office to register for the baptism of your baby. Most of our baptisms take place during Sunday Mass.
CATECHISM CLASSES FOR CHILDREN - take place on Sundays, from 8:15am to 9:15am.

Updates on our 12 Noon Daily Mass:
Our 12noon Mass (every day except Mondays) will continue to be held at the Rectory Chapel. This noon Mass will no longer be live-streamed. However, Sunday Mass and all special Masses will continue to be live-streamed.
Every Tuesday at 8pm, we have Scripture Study- in person & on Zoom ( following the 7pm Rosary). This is mainly focused on the upcoming Sunday Mass readings with discussions led by Fr Joseph. We have recently added to our study a video series, "Mass Readings Explained" by Dr Brant Pitre, who is a renowned & insightful Bible scholar. More inside.
