Release of the 3-1-24 MAP Policy Manual

In response to the Eastern Research Group Evaluation Report 2022, recommendations were made to streamline the Medication Administration Process. Based on these recommendations, and in conjunction with the MAP Workgroup, a draft Medication Administration Process was created and piloted. Following the successful pilot, a change was made to the Medication Administration Process which is reflected in the 3-1-24 MAP Policy Manual and corresponding forms.

The DPH and the state agencies are aware that with this change, there will be a period of time needed for Service Providers to come into compliance with the new Medication Administration Process for training and testing. Please see below for a graphic of our projected communication and implementation process.
