The 2021 featured aircraft are the A-10 Thunderbolt II, B-2 Spirit, C-17 Globemaster III, and F-35 Lightning II . These featured aircraft will be portrayed on the race shirts, finisher medals, and patches. |

With your feedback, the virtual race option will be available for athletes from all over the world to join in from afar to participate in the marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K.

After a successful turnout at the inaugural 1K Kids' Race, the Tailwind Trot will be returning with the number of available registrations increasing.

Sustainability efforts will continue in 2021 after achieving silver level responsible sport certification in 2019. The program plans to be implemented into the 5K, Gourmet Pasta Dinner, Breakfast of Champions events, Health & Fitness Expo and more.

The 25th Annual Air Force Marathon, presented by Northrop Grumman, USAA, and Boeing is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th, 2021 with registration opening January 1st, 2021. The Health & Fitness Expo is scheduled for Thursday, September 16th and Friday, September 17th. Race weekend will also feature a Breakfast of Champions and Gourmet Pasta Dinner on Friday, September 17th.
