Happy Feature Friday, where every Friday the Chamber team will highlight one of our fantastic members by repping them for the day and telling the community more about them. This week's Feature Friday is: Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, LLC.
Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine is home to Dr. Zachary West, who offers Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Osteopathic Cranial Manipulative Medicine, Direct Primary Care, and Aesthetic Medicine. Osteopathic physicians understand that every individual expresses health and disease differently. The absence of disease does not imply the presence of health. Osteopathic physicians are trained to recognize changes in body structure that alters function and contributes to disease. Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is the application of osteopathic philosophy, structural diagnosis, and use of osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) in the diagnosis and management of an individual patient. OMT is the therapeutic application of manually guided forces by an osteopathic physician to improve physiological function.
Join us in showing the world that you are #DOProud by helping to spotlight the osteopathic profession during National Osteopathic Medicine Week, taking place April 17-23! National Osteopathic Medicine (NOM) Week is a national observance dedicated to spotlighting the osteopathic medical profession and raising awareness about the distinctiveness of osteopathic medicine. The event brings together nearly 142,000 osteopathic physicians and over 36,000 osteopathic medical students from across the country with a common goal: celebrating and sharing the unique body, mind, spirit approach DOs bring to health care.
We are so fortunate to have Dr. West and the whole Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine team in Seneca County and are proud of the work they do for their patients. They happily accept Chamber Cash and are currently accepting new patients. Stop into their office at 93 North Washington Street in Tiffin, where you will be greeted by Ella the dog and a friendly staff. Thanks for being a part of the Chamber and our community! Join the Chamber Ambassadors as they host a ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 4:30 PM to celebrate the new location of Rocking ER Farm Store at 8 South Main Street in Attica! They'll have their official grand opening on April 22 with samples of syrups, honey, BBQ sauces, and seasonings.
Rocking ER Farm Store was established in 2020. Elizabeth and Robby's son, Riley, rodeoed and he wanted to help pay some of his entry fees and started to sell produce in 2017. Each year they continued to grow and finally outgrew their pop-up tent. The ideas began to roll in and Rocking ER Farm Store was created that would offer a wide variety of products all-year round.
Rocking ER Farm Store is a country store with a variety of items; from home décor, candy, pet supplies, unique gifts, clothing, and more! They also have locally-made products including health and beauty products, candles and wax melts, hides, signs, tables, benches, flags, jewelry, and more.
