During this session, we will discuss empowerment-based, victim-defined, victim-centered advocacy with survivors of sexual and domestic violence. We will also explore individual and systems advocacy. There will be information regarding our approach, our lens through which we do this work along with basic principles of advocacy work. This presentation will be an introduction to some, a refresher to others. It will be as interactive as possible in the virtual space.
This session will be interpreted into both ASL and Spanish.
