Dear Project Fighting Chance Parents,
We are thrilled to invite you to register your students for our exciting upcoming programs: the 4Ds Boxing Camp and our July Summer Enrichment Program. These programs are designed to provide youth with exceptional training opportunities and a summer full of enriching activities.
4Ds Boxing Camp
Youth will learn the correct boxing techniques and fundamentals that have produced National Champions and Olympians. Under the expert guidance of nationally acclaimed, award-winning boxing coach Ian Franklin, participants will:
- Receive TEAM SKILL TRAINING covering all areas of boxing.
- Learn STANCE, PROPER HAND PLACEMENT, FOOTWORK, and more techniques.
- Develop OFFENSE skills, including the Jab, Right Cross, Left Hook, Uppercuts, Body Shots, Combination Punching, Feinting, Angles, Punching, Slipping, and Blocking.
- Enhance DEFENSE capabilities, including Slipping, Rolling, Blocking, and Countering.
- Practice SHADOWBOX & MIRROR TRAINING, an essential preparation method for champions.
- Engage in CHAMPIONSHIP CIRCUIT TRAINING with activities like hitting the heavy bag, using the double-end bag, and jumping rope.
The camp will run from June 10th to June 21st with two sessions daily: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. There is no cost for students attending San Bernardino Unified Schools. July Summer Enrichment Program
Our July Summer Enrichment Program, running from Monday, July 1st to Friday, July 26th, offers various activities from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This program is free for all students and includes:
- Boxing enrichment sessions
- Music and art programs
- STEM activities
- Free meals
- Other engaging and educational components
