Earlier this year, we reported that a NYSTIA team of Josiah Brown from New York's Best Experiences, Amanda Dana from Visit Orange County, NY and Bob Provost of NYSTIA) presented at the Association of Towns in February. On Wednesday May 22, Amanda, Josiah, and Bob were joined by Ana Liss from Monroe County Economic Development to present at the New York State Economic Development Council's Annual Meeting in Cooperstown. Their topic, Tourism Done Right, reviewed the many ways that tourism stimulates economic vitality and plays a major role in economic development.
