Spring Quarterly News Update

Hello, Region I Members!

It is that time of year that gets extremely busy. It seems like the days are on hyperdrive until end of the year. Hang in there! Summer is near!

It is not too late, but time is running out! The Region I Conference is May 13 in New York City. The conference will have two great keynote speakers, time to collaborate on best practices with practitioners from across the region, great break outs, an amazing awards banquet, and site tours. If you have not considered attending, please click here to learn more.

Strategic Planning

I want to make sure that you know that the policy committee is continuing to work on our strategic plan. Though we are working on many initiatives, I wanted to bring attention to the goal of increasing member value and engagement. One of the ways we can better determine our success on this goal is to conduct a member perception survey to set some baseline data. The policy committee would like to do the survey before June 30, so please look for this in May or early June. Please take that time to give us your feedback.

“Did You Know?”

Did you know that with your membership you have access to member only webinars? There are a variety of topics that are sure to hit an issue for which you have interest. All you have to do is login to your ACTE account, click the members only webinars and enter the CTE Learn Portal. Once you are in, you will see a list of recorded webinars and upcoming webinars for which you can sign up and participate in directly. I really encourage you to check out this great resource that you have because of your membership in this national association. We often face the same topics, but it is great to have perspective from across the US and its territories.

Below are a few more reminders and notices for you to consider.

Sincerely,

Douglas Bush

VP, ACTE Region I
