HokSiLa by Moonlight

Hok Si La Park & the Lake City Lion’s Club will be hosting an illuminated walk around the south loop of the park on February 11th, 2023. Along with the natural moonlight, hundreds of luminaries will light the way!

Afterwards, stay to warm up in the warming house and enjoy a hot beverage and fellowship around the bonfire!

Don't miss your chance to experience on of Lake City's great natural jewels at this unique, family friendly event.

Winter Fun at Frontenac State Park

Lake City's Pack 94 Cub Scouts invites the public to join them on the sledding hills for a family sledding day at Frontenac State Park on January 21st, 2023 from 1-3pm! Everyone is welcome, bring your sleds for a day of winter fun!

Still want more Frontenac fun? Then be at the park on February 4th, from 6-8pm for a candlelight journey along the bluff top with beautiful views of the Mississippi River Valley.

Ice Fishing Extravaganza

The 55th Annual Lake City Sportsman’s Club Ice Fishing Contest will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023!

Adult and Kids Fishing Contests, Euchre Tournament, Prizes and Raffles, Silent and Live Auctions, Great Food and Drink!

Downtown Assessment Report

After numerous surveys, focus groups, and a deep dive into the data, Rethos has delivered its Lake City Main Street Assessment to the Chamber.

This document provides a roadmap to helping Lake City achieve its goals of continuing to create a vibrant downtown for all its residents and visitors. The Chamber, Port Authority, City Staff, business leaders, and other community stakeholders are currently developing strategies and plans of action to implement the suggestions of the report.

The Chamber wishes to thank Rethos, and the granting agency SMIF, for their generous support of this project.

Business After Hours at PMI

Join Pepin Manufacturing and the Lake City Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, January 26th from 5:00-6:30pm for the first Business After Hours event of 2023!

PMI is located at 1875 Hwy 61 South in Lake City.

Ice Golf Returns to Kelly's!

Kelly's Lake House is upping the ante on winter fun this February! Not only is the popular frozen lake course returning, but in 2023 you can also discover ice sculptures and an ice carousel. Also this year, the 1st Annual Kelly's Pepin Mile Wide Open Ice Golf Tournament on February 4th and 5th. Come out for the fun and let's help Kelly's develop a great new Lake City winter tradition!

Celebrating a Big Move with Mercy and Grace

The Lake City Chamber staff and ambassadors welcomed Mercy & Grace Boutique to its new downtown last month with a First Dollar presentation and meet and greet. Located at 104 E Lyon Ave, Donna Brockman’s boutique offers a wide variety of new items, and exquisite, unique and personally hand picked used treasures. Mercy and Grace is also an official retailer of Masion Berger diffusers and fragrances.

First Dollar events bring together Chamber staff, board members, ambassadors, and local business leaders to celebrate newly opened establishments and organizations in the Lake City area.

Welcome Heather Thomas to the Chamber Team!

Heather Thomas has joined the Chamber Team as our new Events and Office Coordinator! Heather is dedicated to supporting Lake City Community and businesses. She has been 1 of 4 women who have worked tirelessly to create Lake City Fall Fest as a way to bring families and community together to celebrate autumn and all it has to offer.
