Sharing the Love with Our Future Giants!

RHS welcomed 8th grade families from our local middle schools at the January 25th Open House where our future Giants learned about Redwood's culture and the vast number of programs, opportunities and resources available — many of which would not be possible at the same level without Foundation funds including:

  • Drama
  • The Wellness Center
  • Athletics
  • The Library
  • Music
  • Visual Arts
  • The Bark/Journalism
  • Assessment Center
  • Architecture + Engineering
  • and more!

Thanks to the continued generosity of our Redwood Community, the Foundation is able to provide critical funding that helps make our school exceptional and support the needs of ALL current AND future students — from the Class of 2024 to the Class of 2028 and beyond!

Measure A: Ballots Arriving This Week!

Measure A is a $517 million facilities bond that will fund urgent repairs, renovations, and upgrades at all five TUHSD campuses including Redwood, and will address:
  • leaky roofs, inefficient heating and cooling, plumbing and electrical systems
  • improve disability access
  • safety systems including fire and lighting
  • replace portable classrooms that are 20-40 years beyond their expected lifespan
  • outdated career and job training classrooms
  • flexible meeting and spaces for collaboration inspired by facilities at other Marin public high schools

Ballots should be arriving this week with election day on March 5th. To learn more, volunteer, endorse and/or request a lawn sign, visit the campaign website and also follow on Facebook and Instagram.

Funding Excellence in Academics, Arts and Athletics

Working in collaboration with Redwood High School, the Foundation raises funds to provide critical resources that make our school exceptional. RHSF helps bridge the gap between state and local funding and what is actually required to provide robust innovative programs, cutting edge tools and equitable educational opportunities for ALL Redwood students.
