Faith Formation classes are available for Pre-K (ages 3+) through 6th graders. Our youngest members will sing, read Bible stories, play games and have open discussions with their peers as they build a strong foundation and understanding of the Christian faith.

All Faith Formation classes will resume on Sunday, September 10th at 9:45 am. Registered students will receive an email prior to Sunday with information on their classroom and teacher assignments. Contact Shelley Brennan (shelleybrennan@gmail.com) with any questions.

Rising 7th and 8th graders are invited to join Pastor Josh and PSK for another year of Confirmation education, focusing on both biblical education and exploration of Lutheran doctrine and theology.

Both Confirmands and their parents are asked to attend the first class on Sunday, September 10th at 9:45 am in the Fellowship Hall. We will be going over class expectations, logistics and the schedule for the year.

2024 ELCA National Youth Gathering Meeting

There will be an informational meeting on Sunday, September 17th at 4 pm for all 8th - 12th graders interested in attending the ELCA National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA that will be held July 16th - 20th, 2024.

At this meeting we will go over details about the gathering, discuss logistics, and talk about cost and fund-raising opportunities. Contact Pastor Josh with any questions.

Regular Youth Group Schedule Resumes on September 24th

The Youth Group will resume their weekly gatherings on Sunday, September 24th at 5:00 pm. Pastor Josh and youth in grades 6 - 12 will come together for a meal, games and small group discussions.  Make plans to attend and bring a friend!  Contact Pastor Josh to learn more.

New Yogadevotion Starts September 24th

Bring your mat and a towel and join members of Redeemer for Yogadevotion - a spiritually centered hour of yoga and meditation to prepare for the week ahead. Each session will be led by Jennifer Henshall, a certified instructor and member of Redeemer, and will last about an hour.

Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord!

The Redeemer Youth and Bell Choirs have just resumed rehearsals for their latest season. The Youth Choir rehearses during the school year on Sundays from 10:55 am - 11:25 am.  The Bell Choir rehearses Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm. Each group performs periodically throughout the year.

The Women's Prayer Group will be starting on Tuesday, September 5th at 9:30 am. Our focus will be on a resource entitled "Love: A Guide for Prayer". It uses the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius to guide us in Scripture to a time of reflection and prayer. Contact PSK if you are interested in joining.

The Wednesday AM Bible Study will start September 13th at 8 am. We will continue our study of “Luther and Scripture.” In the class we study the different articles of the Augsburg Confession within the framework of Luther’s teachings. We supplement our work with the places in Scripture that help define these doctrines of faith. Finally, the Wednesday PM Bible Study starts on September 13 at 7 pm. We will start a new Bible study series on 1 Kings. 1 Kings offers us lessons on what it means to worship God, and God alone. We will also learn the importance of forgiveness. Contact PSK for more information.
