Diana Ross Opens the Loew's Kings

There were once five of them, called the Wonder Theatres. It was 1929. The new exhibition palaces had pipe organs, like cathedrals, and some even talked, all by themselves! Brooklyn's Wonder Theatre was even called the Kings, the Loews's Kings. Built for architectural escapism along with cinematic escapism.

Time passed and bad things happened. Now, after a $94 million renovation & reconstruction to its original glamour, the Loew's Kings is set to reopen with none other than Miss Diana Ross

Look forward to lingering over drinks and small but yummy plates in a chic and streamlined dining room. Seaweed salad, dumplings, yuku chicken wings, spicy tuna pizza. Clever fusion dishes that always surprise with their freshness.

New York Botanical Garden's Orchid Dinner
I am thrilled to have been selected by Veranda Magazine as one of the premiere designers to create a table setting & centerpiece for the New York Botanical Garden's Annual Orchid Dinner at The Mandarin Oriental Ballroom. My past creations for the Orchid Show have been larger than life and this year should be no different as the theme for this years dinner is "Chandeliers".

Can you say "Liberace"!?

Javita Coffee & Hot Cocoa

My days are filled with Warburg Real Estate, Edge Mid-Century Designs, and Andrew Prince Jewellery...as well as the house, the dogs and the vintage cars. Anything that helps me focus and stay on course is something worth sharing. Javita is such a discovery. My favourite, especially in these cold winter months, is the hot cocoa. It seems to give me the right balance of energy and focus to handle my tasks, while the occasional Javita coffee gives you a boast and has ingredients that will help you get prepared for swim suit season.
