ITEEA AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS
HIGHLIGHTING TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING EDUCATION! 

ITEEA's awards program raises awareness of and exposure to the outstanding work being done in technology and engineering education. Award and scholarship opportunities exist for educators at all levels, undergraduate and graduate students, and programs at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. 

ITEEA award winners will be recognized at ITEEA's 87th Annual Conference on April 2-5, 2025 in St. Louis, MO.
The deadline for most awards is November 1, 2024. Visit individual award webpages to confirm specific eligibility requirements and deadlines.

APPLAUDING EXCELLENCE IN THE CLASSROOM 

The Program Excellence Award recognizes superior Technology and Engineering Education programs that serve as a standard for comparison and models for the development of other programs. 

The Teacher Excellence Award recognizes Technology and Engineering Education classroom teachers' outstanding contributions to their profession and their students.

One program and teacher from the elementary, middle, and high school level are recognized in each state, province, territory, or international center. Educators in states with an ITEEA Affiliate should apply at the state level.

ITEEA and its Foundation offers scholarships to support the advancement of technology and engineering education. RECOGNIZING SERVICE THROUGH THE DTE and EL DESIGNATIONS

ITEEA's Distinguished Technology and Engineering Professional (DTE) and Emerging Leader (EL) recognition programs recognize outstanding performance,  accomplishments, and leadership in the field of professional technology and engineering education. The DTE requires seven-plus years of experience, while the EL is available to earlier career professionals, requiring only three.

ITEEA’s most prestigious special recognition awards are given to those who elevate the profession through their dedication and contributions to the mission of technological and engineering literacy for all. These awards recognize outstanding collaboration, humanitarianism, service, professional activity, prominence, and more. Apply or nominate a deserving colleague today!

Each of ITEEA's councils offers its own slate of awards, specifically for elementary STEM, secondary STEM, STEM leaders, and teacher educator council members.
