“God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”
I pray everyone had a very blessed Mother’s Day. For many like me this is the first Mother’s Day I have experienced without my mother who now dwells in the House of the Lord. I thank the Lord for my mother who never wavered in her love for us as a testimony of the Lord’s Love for all of us. I am grateful to the Lord for allowing me to be the son of Rosalind Ray. Happy Mother’s Day to all.
This past week, we assisted churches in the areas of sound and audio, construction needs, attended a minister meeting at True Vine Fellowship Church, led a Deacon Training at FBC Gustine, attended the Heart of Texas Baptist Encampment Board Meeting and the Erath Baptist Association Pastor and Leadership Meeting hosted at FBC Dublin. On Sunday (Mother’s Day), I was blessed to share and sing at Fairy Baptist Church with my wife Monica and our children and grandchildren.
This week, I will be on vacation with my wife as we celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. Please forward all your ministry needs to Talon Keeney, Tri-Rivers Baptist Area Associate Director.
It is our joy to serve all our area churches in meeting the various needs of the church and its leadership. We are honored to be serving each church as we together serve our Lord in sharing the message of Salvation to each community. Your faithful financial support allows every church to have their ministry needs met so they can be more effective in reaching their community for the Lord. We are all One Church located in over 100 Locations
serving and working Together in Ministry and in our Calling to deliver
the Message of Christ Love to all.
Please reach out to us with your ministry needs as we are available to serve you 24/7. We are a “Brotherhood of Churches”.

This coming Sunday, I will be preaching and worshiping at Clairette Baptist Church. I will be in and out of the Area Office throughout the week. Friday, I will be running sound for an event at Coryell Health Hospital. Saturday, my wife and I will be hosting Hungry House Worship Night at our home.
I am available to assist any of our area churches who need a guest preacher, worship leader, or musician, and I am available to give sound, video, and media consultations and assistance.

This has been an exciting, fruitful and busy week for me. Most of all I saw the Lord work in blessed ways during this week. It started on Sunday the 28th where we had the joy of seeing the ordination of 4 Hispanic men called to the Gospel Ministry. This event happened at the Iglesia Hispana de Gatesville, during the quarterly Hispanic Churches of Tri-River’s Fellowship worship service. These men are Joel Solorzano who is revitalizing the Hispanic mission Hogar de Dios in Gatesville, Ezequiel Casas pastor of the Hispanic church of Gatesville, Edgardo Matos of the Hispanic church of Gatesville and José Mejía of the Iglesia Betel of Lometa. It was so emotional and such a blessing to see almost all of the 85 who attended the fellowship come forward and lay hands on these men and pray for them. This was a special blessing for these four men called to minister in our Association. Our DOM, Richard Ray gave the charge to these men and their churches which also was a blessing and encouragement to the newly ordained men and the churches that were present.
Then on Friday the 3rd I had the personal blessing of graduating from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a master's in theological studies. What made this very special for me was that my son Robert and Humberto Garcia a Hispanic pastor in our association also graduated with me along with 301 other graduates. It was a blessed event to see so many graduates from our seminary right here in Ft. Worth and then have the privilege of shaking hands with Bart Barber our SBC president. Humberto and I both are thankful to Tri-Rivers Baptist Area Association as we both had received a scholarship from the association which helped cover much of our tuition expenses.
The fact that I was graduating with my son with the same degree and from the same institution drew the attention of Fox news and they interviewed the two of us and then broadcast it on one of there news programs. Thank you for your prayers and support through the Tri-Rivers Association.

Hello, I'd like to share about our ministry so that congregations will know what we do and where to send those who need our help. We serve Coryell, Hamilton, Bosque, Lampasas, Bell, & McLennan counties.
I am willing to meet with pastors, elders, mission teams, or congregations. I can do a quick 5 minute spill or I can do an entire testimony. I'd also be willing to share a song or two if needed. I'm completely willing to accommodate whatever the churches needs are.
