Chefs@Home Delivered To All TABLE Families

We are excited to share that we have officially launched TABLE’s Chefs@Home nutrition education program. Each month, every family in our food access program will receive a nutrition education kit with a recipe, ingredients, a nutrition newsletter, a fun kid-centered activity, and a link to a video cooking tutorial.

The first kits were delivered in October with ingredients to make pumpkin pancakes. This month families will be able to make kale chips and learn about how kale is the superhero of green veggies!

Moving Update!

As we get closer to moving into our new space, we want to keep everyone updated on the progress and thank those who are helping make our dream a reality!

Vision Contractors has started renovations and is busy updating the bathrooms. Sweet Pease Art took advantage of this week's amazing weather to begin painting our new building mural. And there are new office cubicles and chairs thanks to a generous donor in Raleigh and a hard working group of volunteers who moved them to Carrboro!

We want to give a big shout out to Kim and Kathie! They are our amazing leaders for the Thursday Fresh Food shift. They show up every week and work hard to make sure each bag gets a variety of fresh produce and that no produce is left at the end of the shift. Thank you Kim and Kathie for always finding a solution!
