Caring for Your Heart
February is not just the month of love; it's also American Heart Month — a perfect time to focus on the health of our hearts. Today’s seniors are staying active and living longer than ever, and maintaining heart health is crucial to living life to the fullest. Check out our blog for simple yet effective ways to care for your heart and the hearts of those you love.
Resident Activities
Alabama Days
Moosehaven was thrilled to welcome members of the Alabama Moose family on Feb. 2-3. Residents enjoyed a meet and greet cocktail party and dancing on Friday evening. On Saturday, they were treated to a fantastic picnic with hamburgers, hot dogs, and all the fixins!

We thank the Alabama Moose – and all our state Moose Associations – for their support of Moosehaven and the seniors who enjoy retirement here.
Pool Tournament
Residents broke out the cues and ‘chalked up’ at the highly anticipated Moosehaven Billiards Tournament!

The event was held at the New York Sports Complex where players from all skill levels gathered to showcase their talent on the felt. While the stakes were high and the competition fierce, fun was had by all who attended!

Let’s give a round of applause to our deserving champions!

Veteran's Social
Our proud veterans gathered on Jan. 26 in the Illinois Building for their monthly social. We love listening to their stories and watching them fellowship.

Everyone at Moosehaven is grateful for the service of our veterans and for the freedom they protected.
