PILI will be placing cases for veterans, active duty military and their spouses and dependents who are referred through IL-AFLAN with pro bono attorneys in the 101 counties outside of Cook.

We are excited to announce Sarah J. Taylor as our new Program Manager. Sarah will be based in Champaign and will oversee all of PILI's Pro Bono Program statewide including PILI's Pro Bono Initiative, the Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committees and new pro bono opportunities.
This month, we have a guest post from Zach Zarnow. Zach joined the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation as Program Director in January 2016, taking on the task of developing, monitoring, and evaluating IEJF's initiative to create a statewide military personnel and veterans' legal assistance hotline and coordinated network of legal support services.
