Hello Radiant Sun Family!
Stephanie Francis here. I am beyond excited to re-openthe doors of the studio under the name Llamaste Yoga and Healing. This space has been my home for six years. I received my first 200hr teacher training with Ali and James in 2016 and knew then that I loved these people and this studio very much. I was meant to be there. It made my heart sad to leave and move to Arizona two weeks after receiving my certification. Honestly, that move was necessary for my own growth as a person, teacher, and student. I began teaching at Eight Lotus Wellness in Lake Havasu City in April 2016. Liezl, the studio owner helped to change my life. I was able to grow in all of the ways and was pushed so far out of my comfort zone repeatedly. As many of y’all know, Havasu has my heart. I developed myself as a teacher and found many teachers and friends in that space. While in Havasu I was able to add a second 200hr certification to my resume, became certified in Yoga Nidra Facilitating, helped co-teach (two) 200hr yoga teacher trainings, and was a part of a fabulous community!
In 2019, my family and I packed up and moved back home to Texas. That was an even harder move for me, but I knew God had a bigger plan in mind. I knew that no matter what happened, I would thrive wherever I was. The idea of coming back home made me nervous because I didn't know many people in the yoga community. I was worried that I wouldn't have a yoga home to land. Ali and I stayed connected some over the years of being gone but it didn't really occur much to me to try and teach at Yogali. I remember Ali messaging me about moving back and asking me where I was going to go. I told her "I don't know where I will land.". Her response was "Here! land here!". There was great relief, peace, and excitement knowing I was going home to Yogali, with my teachers.
Ali and James helped change my life from the start! When I felt lost and scared, they were there to shift my life. The same week we moved back to Texas, I began a third 200hr teacher training with Ali and James, I was back in a community, and it felt so good! I have found my tribe, met so many unique souls in this community, and it just keeps growing.
Over these past three years since moving back, God has come through on his promise to always guide me. I completed my third 200hr yoga teacher training in 2020, became a traditional Thai Bodywork practitioner, Reiki master, and a healing arts practitioner. I am also in middle of my 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Ali and James in Advanced Application of Kundalini Yoga and Tantra. I know it is my path to serve God and others. I am only a vessel and a hollow bone for God to move through me.
When Ali and James decided to close the doors to Radiant Sun Academy and move to Costa Rica, I was happy they were following their dreams and sad that my friends were leaving. I didn't know where I was going to land. It was not necessarily in my thoughts to take over and re-open the studio under my own business. God put it in my heart what my next steps were to be. I have a lot to offer the community. I have a heart to love and serve. Yoga and healing arts are my jam and it’s what is alive in me!
On August 15th we will be opening the doors to the new Fort Worth Yoga studio: Llamaste Yoga and Healing. We will offer a variety of classes with our same and some new, awesome instructors. We are excited to be a part of and help grow the yoga community. I am so grateful to everyone for their love, support, and encouragement as we navigate this new endeavor. A huge thank you goes to Ali and James for always being such amazing friends and teachers. Thank you to all the current and past students for sharing space over the years. Thank you to all the new students and friends that will share space in the times to come.
This is an exciting moment right NOW and I am over the moon to explore this path with you all. Stay tuned for our new schedule and membership options available.
