Randy Niemeyer Blasts Frank Mrvan and Kamala Harris for Tumultuous Economy and Soaring Inflation

Cedar Lake– Today, Lake County Councilman and Republican Congressional Nominee for Indiana’s 1st District, Randy Niemeyer, issued a sharp rebuke of Congressman Frank Mrvan and Vice President Kamala Harris for their roles in the current economic turmoil and soaring inflation that is devastating American families. The Inflation Reduction Act, touted as a solution to inflation, has ironically been a major driver of the economic woes facing everyday Americans. According to “The Economist”, The Biden-Harris administration, enabled by Frank Mrvan, bears significant responsibility for the current high inflation rates:

"Under the failed policies of Frank Mrvan and Kamala Harris, our economy is in shambles. Since Mrvan & Harris have taken office, Hoosier families have paid $3,739 more for groceries, $3,838 more for housing,$4,199 more in energy cost, and $9,210 more on transportation," Niemeyer stated. "Their support for the so-called Inflation Reduction Act has only fueled the fire of runaway inflation. Our families are struggling to make ends meet while Mrvan and Harris continue to push disastrous policies," continued Niemeyer. "On day one, I will get to work to cut wasteful spending, rein in runaway inflationary spending, and put money back in the hands of hard-working Hoosiers."

Randy Niemeyer, is a member of the Lake County Council, elected in 2022, after having served as President of the Cedar Lake Town Council. Under Randy’s watch, Cedar Lake was able to turn itself around financially, while expanding its police force, conducting major upgrades to roads, utilities, sewers, and parks, while establishing a municipal fire department. He is a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, and has lived in Cedar Lake most of his life, having raised two children there with his wife of twenty-one years. He is the fourth generation of his family in trucking, as the owner of Niemeyer Milk Transfer, where he started working at 18 years old, right after graduating from Hanover Central High School.
