Message from the President by Charli Thyne

Dear Patriots,

As we look forward to celebrating America on the Fourth of July and saving America on the Fifth of November, we must look upward and thank the One whose help is vital. As such, I'd like to reprint a wonderful prayer that Gay Dillard, NCFRW Vice President from the Central Region, prayed at the NC GOP convention last month, and I hope you will make it your own, too:

Prayer For Spiritual Victory

Heavenly Father, what a privilege and joy it is to have the freedom in Christ to draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy to find help in time of need. Father, as the days get darker and the wickedness of the world seems to be filling up to its brim with evil, hypocrisy and hatred, help us to realize that there is an increasing need to draw near to You and to remain protected under the shadow of Your wings.

Father, sometimes, as we live in this physical, tangible and visible world, we find it difficult to remember that there is a spiritual, intangible and invisible realm where the forces of evil are planning tests and plotting temptations for the saints of God. Increase our awareness and understanding of the spiritual sphere, and equip us in Christ to stand against the forces of evil, fully furnished with the spiritual armor of God, which alone is able to protect us from the enemy's viscous and prolonged attacks. Thank You, that Your plans and purposes will never fail and may we never ever forget that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. In Jesus' name,

Amen

MRW news and action items

Carol Wheeldon, who is the head of Moore County's election integrity effort, is "calling all volunteers" to help with the effort to clean up the voter rolls.

This dedicated group needs your help to complete our Voter Integrity Density campaign, where we send letters to homes where three or more voters live with different last names. Just fill out a form letter with information provided by the

Board of Elections.

There are only a few precincts that have not yet been sent letters requesting an update on residents at certain addresses.

Meet on Thursday, July 11, 2024 after Think Tank at Noon to begin the process of sending the last of these voters notices to be returned to MC BOE or MCGOP for review.

If you can't make the meeting, contact Carol Wheeldon to see about doing this project from home at your own convenience.
