Are you raising a reader? Talking and reading aloud to your child are the most important things you can do to promote language development and reading skills – great predictors of school success.
Redwood City Public Library’s storytimes are designed to develop literacy, inspire a love of reading and encourage social connections in your little ones. Each storytime includes reading fun, inclusive books, interactive songs, a welcoming environment, and time to socialize and play. Our storytimes are age appropriate with book and activity selections tailored to children’s development. We encourage caregivers to choose the storytime appropriate to their child’s age.
NOTE: Storytimes at all locations are taking a break from August 5 through September 8 so that we can prepare for a fun and enriching fall.
