Stabilization Grant Updates

Seasonal Program Changes

Early care and learning programs with an approved recertification application that will be closed for the summer holiday or season will still receive Fixed Cost and Families Grants. If program receives Compensation Support Grants (either option), the program must continue distributing those funds to the eligible staff according to their payroll schedule.

Grant Payments

Early care and learning programs whose recertification applications were approved after the April 5 deadline but on or before April 21 extended deadline will receive prorated funding for the April/May/June 2022 quarter. The quarterly grant payment will cover only May 2022 and June 2022. These programs can expect to receive the prorated payment around mid-May 2022.

Portal open

Grantees can finish recertification applications: The Stabilization Grant Portal has opened again for quarterly updates and recertification applications. It will close again at 5:00 PM on May 31, 2022. Early care and learning programs whose recertification applications are approved this month before the deadline will receive prorated funding for the April/May/June 2022 quarter. The quarterly grant payment will cover only June 2022. These programs can expect to receive the prorated payment around mid-June 2022.
