A Look at the 2023 Children’s Funding Institute

We gathered teams from 23 communities in 10 states for our fourth national Childrens Funding Institute, our training event for communities pursuing establishing voter-approved children’s funds. Attendees of our institutes have successfully created funds that collectively generate more than $331 million annually for children.

The institute is a great opportunity to reflect on and plan for the future of the local children’s funding movement, which we write about in our new takeaways blog post. We also named the members of the Yes for NOLA Kids campaign our 2023 Children’s Funding Champions for their local impact and commitment to giving back to the national movement.

For more about how voter-approved children’s funds can help your community, see the spotlight at the end of our newsletter.
